I'm not feeling great, so while I'm still coherent, I wanted to say a few things.
Kazuma, you better call or email to let me know you're okay, or I'll beat you up once I stop feeling so nauseous. And stay away from anyone who's sick. This is your bossy older sister, giving you permission to skip class and/or work for a few days. I highly suggest you take advantage.
I won't be in work or class for the rest of the week.

Now I remember why I can't spend too much time with Atsuko. I went home to get documentations me and Kazuma'll need for school, etc, and in the process wound up drinking nonstop for a week or two... or so. I think I lost track of time. You don't get hangovers if you never get the alcohol out of your system. This is the first time I've been sober in a week, and my head is NOT happy about it.
I'm sorry for disappearing, I didn't think I'd be gone that long. And now... if anyone needs me, I'll be in bed or on the bathroom floor. Kazuma, your friends said hi.

Kazuma... you better not have spent your rent money at the date auction, and don't think I won't know what you're doing if you show up for dinner much more often this month than any other.
...Is it wrong that I'm incredibly amused at Kenpachi being asked out by another woman? Probably. Oh well. Hope you're not too set on dating him, I don't plan on giving him up anytime soon. He's a good friend to have though.

Speaking of papers, I've had a strange desire to punch some of my professors lately... and I'm really not joking. Why do they all have to assign huge projects at the end of term? There are places I'd rather be than the library.

Yachiru, we should start spending some time out on the porch with the dogs every day, so that you can at least get a little fresh air. I'm home in the afternoons, & it's usually nice out then, so just let me know if you'd like to. And I know you're not up to that shopping trip I promised you at the moment, but once you're better, I'll take you shopping if you want. My treat.

I'll probably still be working the same hours, but now I'll actually have money to burn afterwards. ...I should call Kazuma, make sure he's set for money, since I have a bit to spare now. He's always been used to being able to ask me for money, before tuition fees started sucking up my paycheck.

...Last night brought up a few memories. Haku, as you're the only person who's made me mad enough to tell you about it in detail, I really wish you could remember so I'd have somebody to talk to. Different people shouldn't have the same auras. It's not good. It feels almost like someone you know is dead just walked into the room... kinda like seeing a ghost, not that I believe in them.

I'm getting sick of working 7 days a week. I'm thinking of just giving up some sleep and working longer shifts some days so I don't have to go in every day. Can't cut back on hours. Rent & school bills take up just about everything.

Where's my simple, uncomplicated brother when I want him... I need something to laugh at, Kazuma! Or someone to punch... Unfortunately, he's a 5 & 1/2 hour bus ride away, with no prospect of a visit anytime soon.
I'm still looking forward to the party tomorrow night provided all my apartment-mates' sanity holds until then, as well as my own.
Miroku, I'm seriously close to failing my psych and religion class. I'll probably be invading your dorm room or asking you over here to help me, if you're willing. I get people, ...but religion, not so much.
I'm going to go have a cigarette... and a drink or 7.

The next few days should be...fun... Going drinking with somebody I've never met tomorrow night, got a new roommate, date this weekend, party next week... Somebody tell me since when I'm a social butterfly?
I'm glad something interesting's happening though, 'cause I'm really sick of work right now. If you have no clue how to fight, don't try to rob a store, idiots! You'll only end up a very bruised heap in the alley without even having alleviated my boredom for a few minutes! ...It would also be nice to hear some music not in Chinese once in awhile. Just for a change.
Tifa, since 3/4 of the apartment's residents already know and like you, you're welcome to come over sometime if you'd like. When you get the work schedules figured out, you could bring it over and have dinner with us, maybe? I'm a decent cook, or we could order takeout.

I'll be leaving late tomorrow night to visit my brother. I should be back in a week or two. If anybody needs me for anything, let me know today or tomorrow, 'cause we don't have a computer back at Kazuma's apartment. (I don't have one here either, but at least I have access to one.)
Yachiru, Kenpachi, should I plan on moving in with you two as soon as I get back, or will I be in my old apartment a little longer? Thanks again for everything. (Kenpachi, we need to take another...shopping trip...This time, with Yachiru accompanying us. ...I need a working phone...I feel like I should probably call my brother once every couple weeks & make sure he's still living.
Really though, what I need first is a place to stay. I'm living in questionably the worst apartment in the city. (I'm considering putting my stuff in storage while living here, because I think there's a good chance I may be robbed by my oh-so-honorable fellow residents. I'm just about positive at least 2 of the guys on my floor are low-level professional thieves. And I can't beat up the person and take everything back from 'im if I don't know who he is.) Anybody got suggestions of a halfway decent apartment with relatively low rent that allows smokers?
OOC: Anybody want to help me name the hair salon & sleazy convenience store where Shizuru's working? I really HATE naming places...
